After the tragic death of his father, Will Larkfield inherits his farm and relocates to the property due to the stipulations of the will. After arriving, he discovers an important package containing an EpiPen for his allergies has gone missing. He seeks help from his next-door neighbor, Wanda Bellerose in locating the package. Wanda, a self-reliant, bee-keeping, honey farmer with a chip on her shoulder, takes offense to Will's suspicions. The two begin to engage in an ongoing feud, making Will's new life on the farm untenable. Amidst the chaos, Will finds solace in his father's childhood friend and the farm's caretaker, Joe Dickinson while also falling for Valerie, Wanda's rebellious and fiercely independent daughter. As the mayhem escalates, Will must navigate his stressful, remote work life and budding feelings for Valerie while trying to negotiate a peaceful relationship with Wanda.
